A nod to the 'Midweek Miscellany' posts of old...

As a long-time blogger, the vast majority of my posts were little postcards from our mostly uneventful life as a family. Not that that’s a bad thing; I personally subscribe to the notion of finding luxury in a quiet existence. The odd excursion, gatherings with friends, people-watching: these things are enough to make life interesting.
